EssentialFax 1.75 released

NEW: Added option to "Make a Backup Copy of Your EssentialFax Files" which copies your EssentialFax faxes and phonebook to a location you specify (File > Make a Backup Copy of Your EssentialFax Files)

NEW: Import RKS Fax/Older EssentialFax faxes and phonebook (File > Import)

NEW: Import MightyFax faxes and phonebook (File > Import)

NEW: Multiple recipients when Cloning or Forwarding (creates new fax for each)

NEW: Automatic saving as TIF/PDF to a user specified folder (Preferences #23)
Note: Faxes are always stored to the fixed folder location - this option allows for saving an additional copy in another location, as well as the option to save as a PDF file. Like the Export option, but done automatically.

NEW: Exporting to TIF/PDF is now available from the view screen

UPDATED: Better recall of previous sort orders and tabs when restarting the program

UPDATED: Outgoing Faxes and Incoming faxes now start up initially sorted in reverse date order - with the newest entries at the top

UPDATED: Remembers sort order when adding pages from fax or from enclosures on edit screen

UPDATED: Remembers phonebook sort order

EssentialFax 1.70 released

Windows 7 is now supported. All versions, 32-bit and 64-bit.

Numerous documentation and tutorial improvements. New tutorials added. New manual in PDF format now included.

Better diagnostics have been added, for use when working with technical support.

EssentialFax 1.64 released

In Preferences, added a new "Optimize settings for the selected modem" button, which sets init strings, fax class etc to best settings for the selected modem

Quick Setup was not being done at first send/receive session, due to bug introduced in earlier version (this only effects first time users)

Fixed several typos

Changed the essfax_helper program (the window that shows up after printing to the EssentialFax printer) so it more consistently comes to the front of all windows after a print job (this was mostly a Windows vista problem)

Changed essfax_helper so that if it gets an invalid print job it will exit properly

EssentialFax 1.63 released

Added option "Minimize EssentialFax when [X] button is clicked". This causes EssentialFax to minimize, rather than close, when the [X} button at the top of the window is clicked. Several users have requested this feature.

EssentialFax 1.60 released

Adds field "Modified date" to outgoing faxes. Clicking on the header for this field will sort by this field.

Adds a nice display of the full fax info right below the grid, for incoming and outgoing faxes.
